The Doctor Will Be Back on Christmas Day!
I think he is the one TV series character with the longest history, and with the greatest number of faces - It’s good to be a timelord, don’t you think? Let’s see:
- First Doctor, played by William Hartnell (1963–1966)
- Second Doctor, played by Patrick Troughton (1966–1969)
- Third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee (1970–1974)
- Fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker (1974–1981)
- Fifth Doctor, played by Peter Davison (1981–1984)
- Sixth Doctor, played by Colin Baker (1984–1986)
- Seventh Doctor, played by Sylvester McCoy (1987–1989)
- Eighth Doctor, played by Paul McGann (1996)
- Ninth Doctor, played by Christopher Eccleston (2005)
- Tenth Doctor, played by David Tennant (2005-Present)

I have to admit, I have only seen the most recent (2005-Present) Doctor Who series (including the animated feature The Infinite Quest) and I can hardly wait for the new season (I hope there will be one!). But before season 4, there will be another TV event I can hardly wait for: Voyage of the Damned.
Voyage of the Damned will be another Doctor Who Christmas special, this time featuring a huge cruise ship in the sky (Titanic?) and a cute blonde - Kylie Minogue, actually
(and she IS cute in that dress!). The 71 minute long episode will be aired on Christmas Day.
So, there is one more reason for us, science fiction fans to wait for Xmas! Ho-Ho-Ho!
